In SAS Grid Manager, when active servers that are in a load-balancing server cluster are paused, the load-balancing program does not recognize the paused state. As a result, the program might still direct client machines to the paused servers.

Note: For all clusters except OLAP, load balancing is handled by the object spawners that are associated with each server. SAS OLAP Servers do not use object spawners, so OLAP servers handle load balancing directly.
